THE photography spot you need to capture when you visit Bruges. A beautiful and idyllic canal scene, this quay is super popular, a bit touristy but for good reason

Check out the most photographed place in Bruges! Just a short walk away from the Grote Markt, the Quay of the Rosary (Rozenhoedkaai) is a great spot to visit when you’re wandering around Bruges. Sure, it can get a little touristy. But some places are popular for a reason. Everyone wants to take a photo here because it’s super pretty, especially in the morning and night.

At the Quay you’ll see hints of Bruges medieval past. The cathedral in the distance and all the classical buildings can make this place feel like a whole different time. It should definitely be on your list of spots to see in the city, especially since it’s so close to so many more.

  • The Quay of the Rosary looks fantastic in every season, including the winter. Watch out for the Christmas lights
  • Every evening, they light the Quay and it becomes a lively restaurant scene. Take your partner out for a nice dinner and enjoy the views of Bruges signature swans in the canal
  • Hitch a ride on one of the nearby canal boats to see Bruges in a whole new way. These picturesque trips last around 30 mins
  • Not only is the beautiful cathedral Basilica of the Holy Blood a short walk away, but you can also pay a visit to the local weekend flea market around the corner in Dijver in July - October
