Galaxies far, far away are so much closer at the Planetarium. All you need to do is look up to see the stars. Try out the telescopes to even see Jupiter’s moons.

Perfect for families and couples, the Cozmix planetarium is the best spot to literally see the universe. Right in the Beisbroek park, you’ll learn all about the planets here and get to see the stars. The galaxy is always projected in the heart of the planetarium. Take a moment to sit and enjoy the sights, then use the telescopes to get even closer to outer space.

What about a night visit? Night owls couples and space lovers will have a great time viewing the stars at their best. If you’re lucky and the weather is good, you’ll see great sights from light years away.

Go to the planetarium in the day to see the sun in a whole new light. The sun might look like a pretty yellow ball in the sky to us, but zoom in and you see a fiery rock flaring and lighting up the galaxy.

  • Discover the Planets: before you even walk into the planetarium, explore Beisbroek park to see the planets. OK, so the planet sculptures by Jef Claerhout aren’t as big as the actual planets (you’d need a really big park for that!) but they give you a good idea of what the planets look like
  • Where to next? After viewing the stars and realising how small we are in the universe, have an existential crisis at the Mary Tudor tearoom in the park. Or take the kiddos out for more fun at Boudewijn Seapark
